Children in an outside play area

Hello my name is Andrea Baker.

I am the Nursery Manager at Forest Town. I have worked for the company since March 2011, starting off as Third in Charge and working my way up to Nursery Manager. I completed my NNEB in 1990. From then on I have worked in a range of childcare professions including nannying, nursery nurse, summer camp organiser in London and performing hearing screens on new born babies based on a maternity unit. I enjoy leading and being part of the fantastic team at Forest Town, working alongside staff, other professionals and parents so that together we can provide an excellent service for our children.

Roger Ambler - Deputy Manager

Hello my name is Roger Ambler and I am the Deputy Manager.

I have worked at Paper Moon Day Nurseries since 2010, where I started as a Level 3 Apprentice in the nursery where my daughter attended. I have gradually worked my way up from trainee to Qualified Nursery Nurse, Room Leader and now Deputy Manager. I am also the SENDCo and the Language Lead for the setting. I am passionate about Special Educational Needs and additional learning and development and have acted as a one-to-one support worker for children with additional needs in the setting. I am also a strong advocate for having male practitioners working in Early Years as I see the positive impact they have on children's learning through different perspective, and through positive male interactions. I have two children, both of whom attended Paper Moon Day Nurseries.

Kirsty-Marie Eaton – Third in Charge

Hello my name is Kirsty-Marie Eaton.

I have worked for Paper Moon since we first opened in 2010, so I have seen the nursery grow and progress throughout the years. I am Level 3 qualified and also have a degree in performing arts. I have worked my way up the corporate ladder from Nursery Nurse to the position of Third in Charge. I really enjoy my job and find it challenging in different ways every day. I'm particularly proud that I play such a vital role in young children's development and growth and give them the starting tools for life. Outside of work I enjoy gardening and reading books which always sparks inspiration to transfer into my role.

Rosie Parkes – Room Leader

Hello my name is Rosie Parkes.

I started my career at Paper Moon nursery in Sutton in Ashfield in 2009 as a trainee. After qualifying, I transferred to the Forest Town nursery where I have worked my way up to being Room Leader of the 2-3 year room. I find my job extremely rewarding. I love to watch the children grow, learn and achieve their goals.

Charlotte Robinson - Trainee
